The following four videos help to explain XBRL. While it is my view that none of these videos does an excellent job at explaining XBRL, each contributes to achieving an understanding of what XBRL really is.
It is my view that one video which explains digital financial reporting (and perhaps digital business reporting) and why digital reporting is superior to current reporting approaches and how XBRL enables digital financial/business reporting would be helpful.
